Solar Training Cohort — COMPACT Collaboration

SafeSol recently completed a solar training cohort in collaboration with COMPACT in Oceanside, CA, designed to introduce young adults to the fundamentals of the solar industry. Led by our founder Gonzalo Flores, the program guided participants from basic solar concepts to supervised, hands-on installation training. The cohort covered solar panel systems, installation practices, OSHA safety standards, and essential first aid skills, emphasizing both technical knowledge and workplace safety. Participants graduated with practical experience, foundational industry skills, and increased readiness for careers in solar and energy-related fields.
